There are a wide variety of missions or scenario's at our Paintball Venues but amongst the most popular are:

Man Down | Capture the Flag | Last Man Standing | Under Siege
Centre Flag | Surrounded | Crossing | Bunker Hill

MAN DOWN

Mission Outline - A pilot's plane shot down behind enemy lines and it's up to you to escort your wounded ally to safety! The bad news is that the enemy have you surrounded and are closing in thick and fast. You must ensure that that the enemy don't get a clear shot at the pilot. One hit on him/her then it is all over!

Rules - In order to identify the pilot, he/she must wear a brightly coloured bib.

How to Win - Each team has a seperate objective. One team must take it upon themselves to escort the pilot to safety. Whereas, the opposing team are responsible for eliminating the pilot.

Hints & Tips - It is probably prudent to try and keep the pilot in the middle of your unit. That way he will be a much more difficult target for the enemy to eradicate. Conversely, the attacking team should just lay down constant fire and hope that some of your shots make their way through. Positionally speaking, it is probably best to go for a sneak attack from behind.

CAPTURE THE FLAG

Capture the FlagMission Outline - For this event, a flag is placed at each specified starting point. The aim of the game is to acquire your opponents flag and take it back to your own starting point within a given time limit.

Rules - No member of a team can touch or move their own flag. If you happen to be carrying your opponents flag and you are shot, you must drop the flag at the scene of the shooting.

How to Win - The team that are first to get their opponents flag back to their own start point within a pre-determined time limit will be declared the winner.

Hints & Tips - For this event, keeping as low as possible seems to be the most successful policy. You may also want to consider splitting your team into a front, middle and back section with the front going on the offensive whilst the middle and back provide covering fire.

LAST MAN STANDING

Last man StandingMission Outline - This event is a paintball free-for-all! Basically, two teams start at opposing ends of a field and the team that still have players left after the time limit expires will be victorious!

Rules - For this....anything goes!

How to Win - Put simply, you win by avoiding having your team completely wiped out by the opposition....hence, Last Man Standing!

Hints & Tips - Working as a cohesive Unit is the best way to proceed in Last Man Standing. Going in Rambo style may seem like a good idea at the time but it also the quickest way to get yourself shot!

UNDER SIEGE

Unnder SiegeMission Outline - The defending team are trapped inside a village and the attacking team has the village comprehensively surrounded! The village is being barraged from all angles and the aim of the game is to see how long the villagers can hold out!

Rules - For this event, the attacking team must divide themselves into two teams of comparable size and start at opposite ends of the game zone. The defensive team must not leave the village zone.

How to Win - This game format gives leeway for both the attacking and defending team to emerge victorious. Those charged with defending the village win by holding off the invaders for the longest period of time. The attacking team can win by destroying the villagers in the shortest period of time.

Hints & Tips - For this type of event, it's time to bring out the heavy artillery. Particularly useful for this event is the paint grenades and smoke bombs to smoke out those villagers!

CENTRE FLAG

Centre FlagMission Outline - In this event, a flag is located in a central location on the playing field and the purpose of the game is for both teams to try and gain control of the flag and plant it victoriously in their opponents base!

Rules - If you suffer the misfortune of being shot whilst carrying the flag, you must drop it on the spot. Smoke Bombs and Paint Grenades are not typically permitted for this type of event.

How to Win - In order to be declared the winners, your team must be the first to hang or plant the flag triumphantly in the opponents base.

Hints & Tips - Past experience has taught us that this event tends to be won by the team that aren't afraid to get pumping that trigger! Firepower is the key....overwhelm your opponent and peg it to their base, flag in hand!

SURROUNDED

Mission Outline - Your fort is under attack from a seemingly endless stream of enemies. It is up to you to see how long you can hold off these foes for as they keep coming thick and fast!

Rules - Those responsible for defending the fort are not allowed to leave its confines. They only leave when they have been eliminated from the game. In this event, those attacking the fort can't be eliminated. If they are shot, they must return to the city gates before being allowed to re-enter the game arena.

How to Win - This event is won by being the team that manages to hold the waves of attackers off for the longest period of time.

Hints & Tips - Sooner or later the defending team will succumb to the relentless attacking hoardes...just try to hold them off for as long as is humanly possible! Make sure you come fully prepared with loads of paint in order to keep the attackers at bay! The attacking team's best bet is to keep sustained fire on the fort. This will keep the defenders on the back foot and, if you're lucky, hit a few of them in the process! Smoke grenades are particularly useful in this event for dis-orientating the defending team...maybe you'll get lucky and they'll inadvertently shoot each other!

CROSSING

Mission Outline - In this game, the aim is to safely negotiate your team across a bridge and into the enemy territory. To spice things up a bit, however, the opposing team has the exact same objective and will be endeavouring to cross the bridge at the same time!

Rules - In order for it to be deemed a successful crossing, players must still be alive when stepping from the bridge and into the enemy territory.

How to Win - To be declared as a winning team, you must be the first team to get at least two surviving team members into enemy territory.

Hints & Tips - You may wish to go down the 'Runner' route for this event! Get one of your team to make a break for it across the bridge and lay down a torrent of paint on the opponents as he does so with the intention of distracting them! This idea may seem like folly but it has worked time and time again!

BUNKER HILL

Mission Outline - For this game event, each team will start on opposing sides of a small mound or hill. Neither team will be able to see each other at the beginning of the game. A flag is placed on top of the hill and the first team that gets to it and waves it victoriously is declared the winner.

Rules - In this event, players cannot leave the mound or hill unless they've actually been eliminated by being shot.

How to Win - To win in this event, your team must be the first to scramble to the top of the hill and raise the flag aloft.

Hints & Tips - Irregardless of whether or not you can see the summit of the hill, it doesn't stop you firing paintballs up there. Maintaining a steady stream of paintballs towards the hilltop should be sufficient to discourage any opponents with designs on legging it up there and pilfering the flag!
