Driving Experiences Silverstone, Leicestershire

A chance for youngsters to burn rubber on the legendary Silverstone racetrack, in our range of Ford Ka Rally Cars.

Following a short, classroom based safety briefing, participants will enjoy an in-car demonstration from an expert instructor. Then they'll take the wheel and hit the track to familiarise themselves with the controls. They'll be taught to powerslide and handbrake turn, then integrate this into their lap driving. Finally they'll be shown how to handbrake turn to the right and perform donuts, while the more advanced can attempt a figure 8.

Before they leave, visitors will be treated to a high speed passenger ride. The perfect way to round off a memorable, petrol powered experience.

That takes us through to lunch but there is plenty more action to come. The 2nd session starts with another short classroom session, before drivers tackle the full Silverstone stage under the supervision of their instructor. They'll blast around the track an number of times and really improve their technique. The advanced will even learn new hard braking techniques and different powerslides.

An exhilarating day of motor sports action, rounded off with a high speed passenger ride around the track.
